Verizon Data $1.99 Charges Class Action
The consumer protection attorneys at Heins Mills & Olson are investigating consumer complaints involving Verizon charging its existing non-smart-phone customers $1.99/month for Internet "data usage." Verizon recently increased this data-usage charge to $9.99/month. Verizon consumers believe these charges are improper because these customers inadvertently accessed the Internet and didn't even browse or, in some cases, didn't even access the Internet at all.
