In re Publication Paper Antitrust Litigation

In In re Publication Paper Antitrust Litigation, the court recently approved a settlement with two of the defendants, UPM-Kymenne Corp. and UPM-Kymenne Inc. The partial settlement recovered $9 million for buyers of magazine paper and $8.25 million for buyers of label stock. Heins Mills is a member of the Executive Committee leading the case, representing direct purchasers of coated paper seeking damages caused by a global conspiracy among the defendant paper manufacturers to fix prices and allocate markets and sales volumes in violation of Section 1 of the Sherman Act.
